There are four types of payroll cycles available for generating salary slips based on the frequency of payment:

1. Monthly: Generates a monthly salary slip for employees.
2. Weekly: Generates a weekly salary slip (works Monday to Sunday).
3. Bi-Weekly: Generates a bi-weekly salary slip (works for a 14-day period).
4. Semi-Monthly: Generates a salary slip for two periods in a month (1st to 14th, and 15th to end of month).
